Alpine Freeride Combo

The Snowbasin Alpine Freeride Combo program is an immersive 4 or 6 training days/week that encompasses the passion of both alpine & freeride.  It is designed to teach fundamental skiing skills, ski racing techniques, as well as proper all-mountain technique, terrain and line assessment, and steep-ski skill building.

This program is competition focused, with minimum competition requirements.

Skiers are placed in small training groups—grouped by age and ability—to ensure the right fit.

  • Alpine Freeride Combo placement requires coach recommendation from both freeride and alpine head coaches.

Combo skiers are ages 10-18 at the beginning of the season. They are experienced, train year-round, and have expectations for elite performance in both sports.

Combo is a traveling competition team. Athletes who train more frequently will have higher success qualifying for competitions.

    • 8 Dryland training sessions prior to the season starting.

    • Full-day and half-day on-snow training options (4 or 6 training days/week can be selected at registration) with a professional coach and customized curriculum from resort opening through the end of March.

    • Customized competition schedule, at minimum including the South Series races, one IFSA sanctioned event, and one non-sanctioned interteam competition

    • Snowbasin Ski Team jacket, t-shirt, and beanie

    • 7 to 1 Athlete to coach ratio

    • TeamSnap app membership

    • Holiday Camp

    • Option to add-on additional trainings, outside resort lift passes, Summer Training Camp, event fees, coach travel fees, Race Camp, etc
